UFC Gambling : Nunes, Garbrandt, Sterling, O’Malley Lead MMA Bets

A few weeks ago, MMA fans saw the action-packed UFC 250 main event live via pay-per-view that took place in the UFC’s Apex facility in Las Vegas. During the main event, Amanda Nunes didn’t fail her fans as she defended her title via unanimous decision against Felicia Spencer. And former champion Cody Garbrandt returned to winning ways defeating Raphael Assuncao via blistering knockout.

Given the spectacular matches that took place at UFC 250, the upcoming events will be more anticipated and will have a lot to live up to. Not only that, the fans can expect a more intense battle, we can expect that the betting markets will offer some interesting potential bets.

With UFC 251 scheduled to take place on July 11, 2020, with no exact venue as of yet, but that doesnt mean the fans can’t start filling in their bet cards to wager on. That said, here are the most exciting matches in the upcoming  UFC betting odds for future UFC events.

Amanda Nunes V.S. Valentina Shevchenko III

At this point, Amanda Nunes is now the most powerful female MMA fighter in the world. She is the current women’s bantamweight and featherweight champion and at UFC 250 she smashed a former Invicta FC champion in Felicia Spencer without much trouble over five rounds. Aside from that, she had also beaten the best both women’s divisions can offer in the likes of Germaine de Randamie, Miesha Tate, Holly Holm, Cris Cyborg, and Ronda Rousey.

With no exciting fresh match ups coming to mind, it seems the best option might be for Nunes to rematch Valentina Shevchenko. Valentina is currently the UFC women’s flyweight champion right now. Although these two lionesses have faced before with Amanda Nunes winning bith their previous fights, but their matches were close and a third meeting seems to be the most exciting option.

Cody Garbrandt V.S. Marlon Moraes

What a way for Cody Garbrandt to earn an emphatic ending during UFC 250 as he showcased his skills with a blistering knockout win against Raphael Assuncao. The fight ended in the second round after Garbrandt planted a powerful right-hand finish to his rival’s chin which moved Cody one step closer to a shot at taking back his UFC bantamweight title.

Some fans and media have suggested that Cody Garbrandt may well face Marlon Moraes, who is currently in the Number 1 spot in the UFC bantamweight division rankings after champion Henry Cejudo retired. It might be a big step for Garbrandt to face Moraes, after losing three in a row before this impressive KO finish at UFC 250.

Aljamain Sterling V.S. Petr Yan

As it stands, Petr Yan is set to face Jose Aldo for the UFC bantamweight championship after Cejudo vacated his belt. Assuming Petr Yan gets past Aldo, which is a big assumption, there is a mouthwatering possibility of Yan vs Aljamain Sterling in the near future, if not we may have to settle for Aldo vs Sterling, which isnt too bad at all.

At UFC 250, Sterling successfully chased down and submitted Cory Sandhagen during their match-up leading him to surely earn the next title shot. Sterling is now on a five-win streak in the division and no other UFC fighter can top his streak and opponent quality, other than possibly Petr Yan. When these two eventually meet inside the octagon, it is sure to be fireworks.

Sean O’Malley V.S. John Dodson

Sean O’Malley took a huge leap forward at UFC 250, after he KOed his opponent Eddie Wineland in spectacular fashion. Everyone watching O’Malley’s fight against Wineland was left stunned as he shut down the former WEC bantamweight champion during the first round with a beautiful combination. Fans and media alike have suggested the next logical step for Sean may be former title contender John Dodson.

After 2 years off, Sean O’Malley looks ready to step up and face the top guys in the division, John may not be the top contender he used to be but showed his quality in his last outing, defeating prospect Nathaniel Wood. O’Malley and Dodson will surely create a roaring match-up round if these two bantamweights end up facing off.
