Charlie Ward vs. John Redmond Set For Bellator Dublin

Two more Irish fighters have been added to the upcoming Bellator event in Dublin this winter as Peter Carroll reported today for MMA Fighting that Charlie Ward will take on John Redmond.

SBG’s Ward is currently 3-3 as a professional. The Conor McGregor managed welterweight was signed to the UFC for his last two fights, losing both.

For Irish MMA veteran Redmond, this will be the biggest fight of his career. Holding a 7-12 record in MMA, Team Ryano’s Redmond has had an up and down career and this is a chance at a big promotion many thought “Johnny Jitzu” might never get.

Bellator 187 takes place at Dublin’s point depot (3Arena) on November 10th. The event will be headlined by Ireland’s James Gallagher.
