Carlos Condit vs Demian Maia set for UFC 202 in Las Vegas

The UFC announced moments ago via their Twitter that Carlos Condit will face Demian Maia at UFC 202 in Las Vegas, Nevada on 20th August 2016 on the Nate Diaz vs Conor McGregor 2 card.

Condit lost a hotly debated split decision to UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler back in January 2016 and had hinted at retirement during the post-fight press conference but “The Natural Born Killer” is back.

He faces no easy task in elite grappler Demian Maia who is coming off a masterful display against Matt Brown back in May 2016 at UFC 198 which ended in the third round when Maia locked in the rear naked choke.
