Phil Harris vs Gadzhiev, Brian Moore vs Marat Pekov and more added to CWFN 11

Phil Harris has signed an exclusive five-fight deal with Cage Warriors Fighting Championship and will return at CWFC Fight Night 11.

Coming off a four-fight stint with the UFC, 30-year-old Harris (22-12-0-1nc) will take on 20-year-old undefeated Russian prospect Kurban Gadzhiev (6-0) in Amman, Jordan, on Friday, April 18.

“I’m very happy to be signed back to Cage Warriors,” said Harris. “It’s the best show in Europe and they’ve always been great to work with.

“I don’t know very much about my opponent but I’m looking forward to putting on a Fight of the Night performance for the fans in Jordan on April 18.”

CWFC Fight Night 11 will also feature a welterweight bout between Jack Mason (26-13) and Patrick Vallee (10-5-1-2nc), as well as a bantamweight clash between Marat Pekov (11-5) and SBG Ireland’s Brian Moore (7-3).

In another welterweight encounter, Mike Johnson (9-6) will face Tahar Hadbi (9-5), while unbeaten featherweight Arnold Allen (6-0) will be searching for his fourth CWFC win when he collides with Tobias Huber (5-3).

More bouts will be announced for CWFC Fight Night 11 in the coming days, with the card for Cage Warriors Fighting Championship’s sixth event of 2014 also set to feature the likes of Jack Hermansson, Julien Boussuge and John Redmond.

Meanwhile, in addition to the return of Phil Harris to the CWFC roster, officials can also today confirm that Brett Caswell, Dean Garnett and Tim Wilde have also each signed exclusive five-fight deals with the promotion.
