Anthony Pettis vs Donald Cerrone set for UFC on Fox 6

A heated showdown is headed to Chi-Town on the 26th January as Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone finally faces off with former WEC champion Anthony Pettis.

The two lightweights have been involved in war of words over the past several months, and now they will finally meet in the Octagon.

Cerrone has been waiting on Pettis to finally get back to full health following shoulder surgery that’s kept him out most of 2012, and now he’s finally got the date for their fight.

It was touch and go for a little while on Pettis’ return date due to complications first arising from the shoulder surgery, and then the former WEC champion had to deal with an infection that spread in his elbow that required him to be admitted to the hospital for a few days.
