Alan Philpott steps in to face unbeaten Mike Wootten at Cage Contender: Fight Stars

Cage Contender favourite Alan “The Apprentice” Philpott has stepped in at 3 days noticed to face unbeaten Liverpool prospect Mike Wootten on the undercard of Cage Contender FightStars at the Liverpool Olympia on December 1st.

Home town favourite Wootten predicted a knock out when he had been training to fight Brent Crawley who was forced out today with a dislocated knee, he will now put his unbeaten record on the line against the durable Philpott. The fighters are ranked 14 and 15 in the UK rankings.

This starts a busy spell for Philpott on Cage Contender which will also see him fight in Dublin on 23rd February and face Damien “The Rage” Rooney in Belfast on 13th April.
